Perspektiven – in der Welt der Medici mit Laurent Binet und Ulrich Noethen
Florenz in den 1550er-Jahren. Der Maler Jacopo da Pontormo wird tot aufgefunden, mit einer Schere erstochen liegt er zu Füßen seines unvollendeten Freskos in der Kapelle San Lorenzo. Seit elf Jahren hat er daran gearbeitet, keiner durfte es sehen – außer Michelangelo, der Pontormo als großen Künstler schätzte. Merkwürdigerweise wurden Teile des Freskos übermalt – warum und von wem? Aufruhr in der Kunstwelt! Aber auch in der Politik. Laurent Binet („Die siebte Sprachfunktion“) ist ein Geniestreich gelungen: Die Mischung aus Kunst- und Kriminalroman, ausschließlich in Briefen geschrieben, wird zu einem geistreichen Spiel der verschiedenen Perspektiven. „Köstlich, witzig, brillant und flüssig zu lesen, auch wenn man sich nicht so auskennt in der der Geschichte der Medici und der italienischen Malerei.
